Family-Friendly STEAM learning and activities in downtown Flint on Saturday April 26th and Saturday, May 24th. Free to all ages. You can choose either event – or both!
April’s STEAM event is “Having Fun With Watersheds”. With assistance from local Girl Scouts, it will be fun learning about watersheds, habitat health, and culture with creating your own Gyotaku (Japanese fish prints).
May’s STEAM event is “Creating Healthy Habitats” with learning about the benefits of plants in the watershed, incorporating STEAM to create natural dyes and rain barrels.
Both events are being held downtown Flint at Barth Hall, located at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 711, S. Saginaw Street.
Event times are 10am-2pm with a break for lunch.
Event is free, but please register for space and supply needs.
