A leisurely Victorian-themed Independence Lawn and Tea Party at a historic stately home.
Join us to celebrate our nation’s independence in the Gilded Age (Victorian) way! The Whaley Historic House Museum is pleased to announce that we will host a tea party on our lawn in honor of our nation’s birth. The event will include a full tea service on our lawn, our guests will also have the option to partake in 19th-century lawn games such as croquet and badminton should they so desire. The house will also be open for tours to our guests this afternoon.
Late 19th-century attire is not required but always encouraged should you want to dress for the occasion! Celebrate Independence Day weekend like the Victorians did! Tickets are non-refundable.
Tickets must be purchased in advance. To purchase tickets please call us directly at 810-238-7228 or email us director@whaleyhouse.com. You can also purchase your ticket by clicking the “donate” button on our website, just add a note that it’s for the July tea!
