Ceramics & Pottery Class

This class will introduce students to building with clay. Focus will be on the hand-building techniques: pinch, coil and slabs. Functional as well as sculptural applications will be explored. Students will be introduced to the craft of wheel thrown pottery on a limited basis. Various glaze and decoration for finishing work will introduced in class as well. Tuesday afternoons from February 1st-April 26th. Adult class: ages 18+. Swartz Creek High School Art Room. Use the door by garbage dumpster. Students are encouraged to bring their own snacks and drinks, as class is so close to dinner time.
